Hi! My name is Sloan and I am a New Englander escaping the cold in Florida! When I was little, I was obsessed with Anastasia, the off-brand Russian Disney princes movie—maybe because I am part Russian myself. I have traveled to over 25 countries and studied French in school as well as international relations, anthropology, history, and women’s studies. While I am definitely a city girl, I grew up learning how to milk a cow and knit. My name, “Sloan,” was inspired by the 80’s movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” I used to dance and perform so I love being in the public eye and meeting people. I am senior at Eckerd College and hope to go on to law school after traveling to another 25 countries!
